Performance Evaluation of Static PV Array Configurations for Mitigating Mismatch Losses

Solar photovoltaic (PV) systems are susceptible to power loss caused by environmental factors such as partial shading and temperature changes. To address this issue, PV modules connected in array configurations. However, these configurations can lead mismatch losses between the rows, which reduce output. While there many solutions mitigate losses, performance of each solution vary depending on conditions configuration logic. This research paper evaluates fifteen existing static techniques under various patterns. We analyze mathematical formulation logic used behind configuration, well shade dispersion rate, generation, advantages, disadvantages. Our analysis includes a MATLAB/SimulinkⓇ model $5\times 5$ for different The consistent best is also evaluated real-time environment. results categorize consistent, best, average, or poor. provides detailed their performance, help selecting optimal specific conditions.
